As kids all over America head back to school, Broadway.com decided to ask our favorite Broadway stars to look back at their own years in the classroom, sharing memories of favorite subjects and activities and describing their younger selves. It sounds like Daniel Jenkins, a Broadway vet who is jumping into the role of Dad in Billy Elliot, owes everything to his high school theater muses.
Who was your favorite teacher and why?
Becky and Suzanne. They were joined at the hip and they introduced me to musical theater. My nerdy high school career took a turn for the better: a theater nerd high school career!
What advice would you give to your school-age self?

In school you would have been named most likely to…
...never have fashion sense.
Keep checking back for more School Days memories from your favorite stars.
